Our Worship

What to Expect

Our worship service is, for the most part, traditional and liturgical with responsive readings, Scripture readings, an offering, sermon, prayers and a benediction. However, our time of sharing joys and concerns, as well as elements of the pastor’s sermon, often give us opportunities to dwell on the role our faith plays in our everyday lives. We feel our Communion Sacrament, open to all, represents Jesus’s love and acceptance of all people.

1929 Organ in Worship

Our Senior, Junior, and Bell choirs, as well as special music, add a wonderful dimension to our service. Lay persons have opportunities to participate in worship by leading the Children’s Time, as well as through Scripture readings or leading the entire worship service in the absence of the Pastor. Our sanctuary is incredibly beautiful with dark stained oak, abundant stained glass, and a unique, half-circle architectural design. Our Casavant Opus organ, installed in 1929, provides a rich and full sound for our worship.

Our Communion

Our Congregation celebrates an Open Table Communion. All are welcome to come and partake of the elements of gluten free bread and grape juice. There is no requirements to receive communion other than to show up on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome to God’s table.
